Naoki Yoshida, the director of Final Fantasy XIV, opened the first day of the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2023 in London on Saturday. He told attendees about two new ways to enjoy the game through new partnerships. Yoshida said that the collaboration between Final Fantasy XIV online and Fall Guys would be released on October 31 as part of Patch 6.51. He also said that there would be a new collaboration between Final Fantasy XIV online and Final Fantasy XVI, which would be available during a 6.5x update.

The Fall Guys partnership is made for groups of 24 players, but people who don’t have their own alliance can also use random party matching. Yoshida also said that the content is one of a kind because it has an on-off system, which means that you won’t always be able to play it. This is done to keep the balance between the two games. People who play the game and win will also get gifts that are special and not found anywhere else.

The game works with Final Fantasy XVI, and Yoshida says that its director, Naoki Yoshida, agreed to it. The two games work together on a questline called “The Path Infernal.” The quest has the main character from Final Fantasy XVI, Clive Rosfield, and the Warriors of Light. The quest will also have gear and loot based on Torgal, Final Fantasy XVI’s favorite wolf (as shown by the loud cheers from the crowd). Yoshida promised that the story of the quest would not give away too many good things about Final Fantasy XVI for people who haven’t played it yet.
