Loki Ep 4 Release Date: Everything You Need to Know

The fourth episode of Loki will be made available to stream on Disney+ in the United States on Thursday, October 26 at 9 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET, and in the United Kingdom it will be available on Friday, October 27 at 2 a.m. BST.

Already at the midway point of the second season of Marvel’s Loki, the series continues to shine as the crown gem of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney+. Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius’ (Owen Wilson) plot to avert a temporal meltdown at the TVA approaches a key moment in episode four, and it appears that things are about to come together.

The odd, time-bending series has already set up a very strange story in season two, and it looks like things are about to come together. The second season took up just where the first season’s finale left off, with Loki “time slipping” back to the past, forward to the present, and then even further forward to the future.

Loki Ep 4 Release Date

This allowed the God of Mischief to get a peek of how things used to be at the TVA, as well as how they will be in the future. He Who Remains was the highly visible founder and leader of the organization in the past, and employees like Mobius obeyed his directions. In the future, the TVA was on the point of being destroyed, but Loki and his variation Sylvie (played by Sophia Di Martino) were working toward a goal despite the impending disaster. He was cut by an unseen person before Loki could figure out what it was, which ultimately ended up saving his life in the here and now.

After meeting the crucial engineer OB (Ke Huy Quan) in the bowels of the TVA, Mobius and Loki made the decision to find Sylvie by following Hunter X-5 (Rafael Casal), who had deserted his job for a comfortable celebrity life in the Sacred Timeline. Mobius and Loki followed Hunter X-5 to the Sacred Timeline.

By following his hesitant guidance, they were not only successful in locating Sylvie, but also a TVA general named Dox (played by Kate Dickie) who intended to destroy all of the newly split timelines out of a sense of allegiance to the traditional methods of the Time Keeper. The majority of the bombings could not be stopped by Loki, Sylvie, or Mobius, and Sylvie ultimately decided not to assist Loki in his efforts to defend the TVA any longer.

Loki and Mobius took a trip back in time, hot on the trail of two other important TVA deserters: Judge Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) and the sentient AI program, Miss Minutes. Having given up (for now) on retrieving Sylvie from her new home – a branched timeline where she slings Big Macs for a living – Loki and Mobius traveled back in time in pursuit of these two individuals.

They came to the conclusion that the two were monitoring a He Who Remains version known as Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors) in the 1800s, where they were grooming him for greatness in the hopes that he would one day seize control of the TVA once more in the future.

Sylvie and Ravonna came to blows as the key players clashed over who may claim Timely for their team. Sylvie then used He Who Remains’ TemPad to catapult Ravonna and Miss Minutes to the Citadel at the End of Time, where Miss Minutes teased a significant revelation about Ravonna’s background.

Ravonna and Miss Minutes arrived in the Citadel at the End of Time. In the meantime, Mobius and Loki returned Timely to the TVA in the expectation that he may be able to assist OB in repairing the temporal weave and preventing the entire system from melting down.

What to Anticipate From the Fourth Episode of Loki

It appears that in the fourth episode of Loki, Victor Timely will be assisting Loki, Mobius, OB, and Casey in coming up with solutions to mend the temporal loom at the TVA. Hunter B-15 will also be involved in this process. Since Miss Minutes has been reported missing once more, it is quite unlikely that they will be able to rely on her assistance in the future.

The fact that Sylvie is now working alongside Loki once more at the TVA, however, gives the impression that the future depicted in the first episode is getting closer to being a reality.

Final Thoughts

Does this indicate that the TVA will finally have to deal with the temporal meltdown that has been hinted at throughout the previous three episodes of the series? If so, episode four should be interesting. Or will there be some kind of distraction, some kind of last-minute intervention that stops that calamity from taking place? This week, we will have to tune in to find out the answer!
